Job description
Core-Asset Consulting is working with a leading, technology-driven organisation to recruit an experienced Senior Salesforce Administrator in Edinburgh on an initial 12-month contract. \r\n
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, you will support, maintain, and enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud and related systems, while contributing to the design of scalable, high-performing solutions.\n\nYou will work closely with stakeholders across sales, marketing, and other business functions to deliver effective system improvements and ensure best practice across the platform. \r\n, * Analyse business requirements and deliver solutions aligned with organisational objectives\r\n
- Lead the design, testing, and release of new Salesforce features and enhancements\r\n
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions\r\n
- Maintain and optimise integrations with third-party applications\r\n
- Act as an escalation point for Salesforce-related queries and issues\r\n
- Drive best practice across platform performance, security, and data integrity\r\n
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and data structures\r\n
- Lead incident management, including communication, resolution, and documentation\r\n
- Support and mentor junior administrators, contributing to team capability\r\n
- Promote knowledge sharing and effective platform use across business teams\r\n
Requirements
r\nEssential Skills/Experience:\r\n \r\n
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud\r\n
- Experience managing and maintaining integrations with third-party systems\r\n
- Advanced reporting and data analysis capabilities within Salesforce\r\n
- Significant experience working with a large Salesforce instance\r\n
- Implemented multiple external connections to Salesforce\r\n
- Implemented complex logic flows to serve internal business processes beyond data input (auto launched, record-triggered, number of branches, loops, pauses, flow orchestration, screenflows)\r\n
- Experience with role hierarchy and sharing rules to ensure correct visibility of data\r\n
- Practical problem solver who can quickly understand our data structures and relationships in order to support the team asap\r\n
- Experience working within complex Salesforce environments\r\n
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and best practice\r\n
- Experience maintaining security standards and handling incidents\r\n
- Proven project management and delivery capability\r\n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills\r\n
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and support a range of stakeholders\r\n
- Experience supporting or mentoring less experienced team members\r\n
