Job description
- Test Execution & Data Collection
- Perform tests on manufactured products using predefined test procedures.
- Collect and document test results accurately for analysis.
- Identify failures and anomalies during testing and report findings to the Test Systems Engineer.
- Conduct environmental, functional, and stress testing as required.
- Equipment Setup & Maintenance
- Set up and configure test equipment according to test specifications.
- Perform routine calibration and maintenance on test systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with test setups before escalating to the Test Systems Engineer.
- Automation & Software Support
- Run automated test scripts developed by the Test Systems Engineer.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness and reliability of automated test sequences.
- Assist in debugging and refining automated test processes.
- Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Identify potential issues in test processes and suggest improvements.
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to diagnose failures.
- Escalate complex issues to the Test Systems Engineer for deeper analysis.
- Process Compliance & Documentation
- Follow established testing protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure all testing activities are documented in compliance with industry and company standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of test results, equipment usage, and issues encountered.
- Support & Collaboration
- Work closely with production teams to ensure seamless testing within the manufacturing flow.
- Assist in training production personnel on test procedures and equipment usage.
- Provide real-time feedback to the Test Systems Engineer on test system performance.
- Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements to test procedures based on hands-on experience.
- Participate in test development discussions with the Test Systems Engineer.
- Stay updated on new test methodologies and best practices in the industry.
Requirements
To be eligible for full SC, you generally need to have resided in the UK for the last 5 years. In some circumstances, a minimum of 3 years' residence in the UK over the last 5 years may be accepted, with additional overseas checks.
