SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

• Developing front-end features with JavaScript to keep workflows simple and intuitive\r\n
• Managing and improving databases (MariaDB/MySQL), making sure data is accurate and performs well\r\n
• Keeping systems secure, stable, and easy to audit\r\n
• Investigating and fixing issues in live environments without causing disruption\r\n
• Writing clean, readable code that others can easily work with\r\n
• Getting involved in code reviews and general improvements\r\n
• Supporting less experienced developers when needed\r\n

• Solid experience working with PHP at a mid or senior level\r\n
• Strong JavaScript skills, including working with APIs\r\n
• Good knowledge of MariaDB/MySQL, including database structure and performance\r\n
• Experience with AWS (e.g.\n\nhosting, deployments, or working with cloud-based services)\r\n
• Experience working on live systems, especially where data sensitivity matters\r\n
• Understanding of secure coding and data protection\r\n
• Able to work independently and make sensible technical decisions\r\n
• Experience dealing with older or existing codebases\r\n
