Job description
We are looking for like-minded people to join our organization and contribute with their ideas, skills and expertise in exchange for a good payment., * Real domain expert down to the roots: State-of-the-art knowledge and real experience in almost all aspects of your professional area
- Open mind to listen and learn, but also to give back knowledge to the organization
- Taking responsibility for the entire product/projects/initiatives
- Able to create a strategy or parts of it
- Scalable mindset and knowledge of how to design/build scalable solutions/processes
- Knowing the difference between real knowledge/understanding and Dunning-Kruger
- Awareness about the difference between knowledge/skills and real experience.
- Documentation discipline. Writes column-level data dictionaries, runbooks, and onboarding guides by default - so the platform stays maintainable the day they leave.
Requirements
- Senior Data Architect or Senior Analytics Engineer. Advanced expertise in using data platforms like Databricks and BigQuery, as well as using linked PostgreSQL servers and MongoDB.
- Business fluency. Can translate executive questions - MRR, churn cohorts, customer funnels - into trustworthy, fast, self-serve data products. An MBA or 2+ years in a BizOps-adjacent role, on top of an engineering background, is a big plus; we need someone who understands why a metric matters, not just how to compute it.
- At least one semantic layer designed from scratch in production - not inherited and patched. Must be able to whiteboard their past design, explain grain choices, and defend trade-offs between fact/dim stars and wide denormalized marts. In the interview, we may share an example scenario and expect a concrete proposal with before/after reasoning.
- Query-optimization perfectionist. Knows when to rewrite SQL versus reshape the data model, and treats any BI report over 25 seconds as a personal affront.
- Data accuracy is a non-negotiable foundation. Treats data accuracy as the bedrock of the architecture, not a QA afterthought. Builds reconciliation against source-of-truth systems, schema contracts, referential-integrity tests, cardinality assertions, and daily drift checks from day one. Believes a fast dashboard showing wrong numbers is worse than a slow one. In the interview, we expect concrete examples of accuracy incidents they caught (or missed and learned from) and the controls they built to prevent recurrence.
Nice to have
- Custom AI agents for non-technical users. Experience shipping LLM-based agents - text-to-SQL, semantic-layer-backed Q&A. Bonus for prior work with tool-calling frameworks, guardrails against hallucinated metrics, and evals for answer quality., * Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
