Job description
We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in London that is responsible for the platforms that underpin highly reliable, autonomous operations., * Design, extend, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to support build, testing, and release activities across multiple services.
- Operate and enhance container-based platforms using Docker and associated registry and orchestration technologies.
- Establish deployment standards, including release versioning, rollback approaches, and production-readiness controls.
- Lead operational support and maintenance activities to ensure service continuity and system performance.
- Develop and manage operational tooling to support:
- Automated deployment of production services
- Centralised logging and observability
- Orchestration and lifecycle management of distributed components

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with containerised environments, including image management, registries, and lifecycle operations.
- Experiance within Aerospace, Defence or Space industries.
- Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and automation practices.
- Understanding of networking concepts relevant to distributed platforms (e.g. DNS, shared storage, service connectivity).
- A disciplined approach to documentation, configuration management, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with SQL databases, including administration or performance optimisation.
- Background supporting complex, safety-critical, or highly available operational systems.
- Exposure to infrastructure-as-code practices or monitoring and visualisation tools (e.g. Terraform, Grafana).
