Senior Design Engineer

To undertake a defined range of detail design activities in line with all relevant processes and quality

Requirements of Mechanical/Piping design package and reports for Installation solutions on Legacy Warships,

Supplying advice and support to operations and other functions and/or to organise and co-ordinate aspects of detail design activity ensuring defined objectives are achieved whilst continually maintaining quality and service requirements

Required to exchange complex engineering design information at Design Reviews. AutoCAD/Inventor design experience and in addition to this, having the ability to produce detailed manufacturing & assembly drawings

An understanding of detailed system and technical engineering drawings including manufacturing drawings with knowledge of projection layouts, scaling & tolerancing

Knowledge of ship system engineering drawings such as diagrammatic, piping isometrics and also ship systems materials and equipment (symbols)

The rate per hour: £42.08 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella
