Job description

  • Act as the technical lead within the Network Operations Centre, owning complex incidents and escalations.
  • Design, deploy, maintain, and optimise network and wireless solutions across customer environments.
  • Deliver highquality professional services, including network installs, migrations, upgrades, and consultancy work.
  • Provide 3rd line support to the Service Desk when required, assisting with root cause analysis and problem management.
  • Support and upskill junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practice across the team.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including LLDs, network diagrams and survey reports.

Requirements

You are a knowledgeable and hands-on network engineer with a passion for delivering robust, scalable, and highquality solutions. You are comfortable owning technical outcomes, leading by example, and supporting others to grow their capability. You thrive in an MSP environment, have previous experience with working on a Service Desk, understand the importance of service quality and customer experience, and are confident operating as the experienced, technical lead., * CCNA is a mandatory requirement.

Technical Skills & Experience

  • Relevant experience within a Network Technician, Network Engineer or Wi-Fi Engineer role.
  • Designing & delivering wireless projects.
  • Collaborating with wireless vendors such as Ericsson, Ruckus, Siklu, Cambium and other similar brands.
  • Previous experience with the use of Ekahau would be beneficial.
  • Experience with working to ITIL4 practices.

You will be responsible for the design, deployment, optimisation, and support of complex network and wireless solutions, acting as the senior escalation point for the Service Desk and playing a key role in upskilling and mentoring junior engineers.
