Senior Firewall Engineer - SNS

We're seeking a Senior Firewall Engineer to take a leading role in managing, designing, and improving our enterprise firewall infrastructure. This is a hands-on, senior position where you'll deliver projects end-to-end, partner with architects and engineers, and drive innovation across both on-prem and cloud environments. As part of our team, you'll be trusted to bring your expertise to complex challenges, provide Tier 3 technical support, and mentor colleagues while helping us modernize our infrastructure. You'll work on routing, switching, and firewall projects that protect and enable a large-scale enterprise network. What you'll do: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale firewall solutions. Research and recommend new technologies to strengthen our security posture. Partner with peers and management to deliver modernization projects. Provide Tier 3 support and proactively resolve complex issues. Document solutions and share knowledge across the team. Coach and mentor, This senior role involves leading the design and implementation of enterprise-scale firewall solutions, researching new technologies to enhance security, and providing Tier 3 technical support for complex issues. Responsibilities also include partnering on modernization projects, documenting solutions, and coaching team members.

What we're looking for: 5-7 years' experience with Palo Alto firewall platforms (Panorama, NGFW, Prisma Access). Strong background in enterprise network design and implementation (10,000+ users). Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams. Certifications such as PCNSE (required), CCNP or CISSP (desirable). A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities. Nice to have: We'd love it if you also bring experience in some of the following areas: F5 load balancing, SSL decryption, and DNS geolocation. DDoS mitigation and advanced VPN solutions. Certificate management and PKI. NAC solutions (Forescout, Cisco ISE). Cloud networking and secure design for scalable environments. Automation and scripting (Python, Ansible). Monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, DataDog, or Splunk.
