Job description

It's a purpose that drives everything we do and one we're proud of. And you can play your part too, as a Technical Information Security Manager in safeguarding our members by providing SME oversight and technical guidance within Information Security and Operational Risk.

How you'll make a difference:

As our Technical Information Security Manager, you'll provide 2nd line oversight on Information and IT Security risk management.

You will engage with the business to conduct themed information security reviews with the assurance that the right controls are in place, including the delivery of Society attestations (SWIFT, BACS, PSD2 etc.).

You'll work closely with technology, risk, and operational stakeholders to deliver meaningful assurance, influence security outcomes, and ensure that controls are both effective and practical.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar Technical InfoSec Manager role.

  • A thorough understanding of Information Security control frameworks including ISO 2700x, PCI and SANS top 20.

  • Experience of cloud security controls

  • Ability to lead individual audit assignments, and manage and prioritise own workload

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Experience within financial services desirable.
