Senior Security Engineer

• Build threat models and improve detection coverage across the environment
• Design logging, detection, and alerting systems
• Build automation and tooling for threat hunting and incident response
• Investigate alerts and support security incident response
• Partner across teams to respond to threats effectively
• Turn threat intelligence and research into practical detection outcomes

• Experience in detection and response, incident response, forensics, malware analysis, or threat intelligence
• Strong coding skills in Python and/or Go
• Deep systems knowledge, with expertise in at least two of: macOS, Windows, Linux, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP
• Strong communication, sound judgement, and a collaborative mindset, * Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of relevant security experience, or Master's degree with 5+ years, or PhD with 2+ years, * Experience in threat hunting and detection engineering
• Familiarity with Google Cloud, Google Workspace, and AWS
• Experience working cross-functionally in complex environments
