Job description
In this position, you are responsible for the management, stable operation, and continuous development of the Krones.world Production platform, which serves as the technological foundation for digital services for Krones and our customers within the subscription business. Your responsibilities include the end-to-end lifecycle operation of the platform, covering configuration, release and change management, system integration, as well as monitoring and reporting. In addition, you actively drive the strategic evolution of the platform, with a strong focus on standardization, automation, and the continuous optimization of platform processes and architecture. Your tasks
- You are responsible for the engineering and remote commissioning of customer projects worldwide and act as a controller (supervising role) in an international environment.
- You support the execution of end-to-end release tests and contribute actively to quotation and proposal preparation.
- In close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and the development department, you ensure that our software is continuously, purposefully, and sustainably developed to secure the lifecycle of our IT/OT applications.
- You take over operational tasks as well as 2nd-level support for network, security, IT/OT systems, applications, and services.
- You provide technical support to Customer Support in problem analysis and troubleshooting, thereby making a significant contribution to the stability and quality of our solutions.
- You contribute to IT/OT asset management, including the maintenance and further development of SAP and ServiceNow structures as well as other required tools.
- You are responsible for knowledge transfer, conduct coaching activities, and create and maintain training documentation.
Requirements
- You have several years of professional experience in an IT/OT, digital operations, or service management environment, ideally based on ITIL.
- You bring advanced knowledge of IT/OT systems, networks, security, or digital services.
- You have experience in taking on partial project responsibility.
- You have experience working with SAP and/or ServiceNow systems, ideally in the context of IT/OT services, asset management, or service management.
- You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner.
- You are a team player, have strong communication skills, and operate confidently in an international environment.
- You have very good German skills and good English skills.
