  • Implement and manage containerized and microservices-based platform components with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, ensuring high reliability through thorough testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure quality, integrity, security, and compliance, while providing expert guidance and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor data professionals, driving best practices and overseeing complex data-centric projects from concept to completion with minimal managerial oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, platform engineering, or software development, with a proven track record managing large, complex data projects in enterprise environments.
  • Strong expertise in data architecture and modeling, SQL, microservices, APIs, and web services.
  • Hands-on experience with platform and DevOps engineering, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Python, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex problems and work effectively within Agile methodologies.
  • Background in manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology (OT) domains, enabling effective translation of business needs into technical solutions.

Benefits & conditions

  • Flexible remote work options.
  • Generous time off, including paid holidays and parental leave.
  • Continuous learning through the Learn@Siemens-Energy platform.
