Cyber Security Technologist

As a Cyber Security Technologist apprentice, you'll learn core cyber skills, including:

• Understanding cyber threats and attack techniques
• Applying cyber security best practices
• Basics of networking, security and cryptography
• Analysing risks and vulnerabilities
• Supporting cyber risk assessments and incident response
• Designing security solutions and controls
• Researching threats using recognised intelligence sources
• Communicating findings clearly through reports and presentations

• Are curious about technology and cyber security
• Enjoy problem-solving and learning new things
• Like working with others and sharing ideas
• Want to start or progress a career in cyber
• Are motivated to grow and develop professionally

What you'll need to apply

• A Level 3 IT-related qualification, or
• At least one year of IT-related work experience
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C / 4 / 5 or above
