The Business Systems Manager will lead the day-to-day operation and development of Bellrock Consulting's Operational Excellence function. Whilst this is not a function that exists today, for the right candidate, it is an opportunity to build and lead and exciting phase of transformation activities consequential to our business.
This role will own the practical operation of key controls, procedures, system discipline and continuous improvement activity across the Consulting business. The postholder will act as the lead business super-user for the selected Business System, drive consistent adoption and data quality, coordinate internal audit activity, maintain operational procedures and policies, support QMS and ISO adherence, and identify process improvements that improve efficiency, control and user experience.
Joining at this stage is a significant opportunity to lead the Business Change workstream led in Project Sunrise. This is a 12-month transformation initiative that supports development of a more consistent management system, clearer controls, stronger quality adherence and better operational visibility. During that period, they will play an instrumental role in helping shape the function, contribute to process and system design, and support the build of requirements, controls, procedures and user adoption approaches that will underpin the long-term Operational Excellence model. And as a Business Systems Manager with Bellrock, you'll do it by Lead the Operational Excellence function
- Lead the day-to-day operation and ongoing development of the Operational Excellence function across Bellrock Consulting, ensuring consistent, controlled and practical ways of working.
Act as Business System super-user
- Serve as the lead business system super-user, supporting user set-up, smaller approved system changes, day-to-day operational support and effective system use.
Lead training and adoption
- Driving adoption in operational teams, embedding change, owning user training, onboarding and support for the Business System and related processes, driving consistent adoption, strong system discipline and high-quality data capture.
Maintain procedures and controls
- Maintain and improve operational procedures, work instructions, policies and control documents, ensuring they remain current, practical and embedded in day-to-day operations.
Support QMS and ISO compliance
- Support adherence to QMS, ISO and related control requirements by maintaining documentation standards, coordinating actions and helping ensure audit readiness.
Coordinate internal audits
- Coordinate the internal audit programme, working with subject matter experts to plan activity, track actions, manage evidence and support timely resolution of findings.
Drive process improvement
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen control, reduce duplication and improve the user experience across Consulting operations.
Support reporting and insight
- Use Business System and other operational data to monitor compliance, highlight performance trends and support better operational decision-making.

Deploying a business management system into a consulting environment needs a blend of strategic, operational, and people-focused skills to drive adoption and minimise disruption. Critically, they must be able to translate system functionality into tangible business value, aligning the change with commercial and delivery objectives.
