Job description
Green Fusion is a 100-person climate tech company optimizing heating systems at scale across Germany, with expansion into France. We connect to building infrastructure via proprietary hardware, collect real-time data, and deliver energy savings through algorithmic optimization. We're shifting from fast early-stage execution to a structured, product-led engineering org - and need a leader to make that happen. You'll partner closely with our CTO, CPO & CEngO to professionalize and unify our technology organization. This is a hands-on role with clear decision-making authority over engineering processes, standards, and team structure. What You'll Own Unify delivery across 4 cross-functional product teams and functional/platform teams (~35 engineers, designers, data scientists, and system engineers) Mentor and develop first time leaders Establish engineering standards: introduce consistent development processes, quality gates, and clear boundaries between discovery/prototyping and delivery Drive tech-roadmap discipline, increase alignment between engineering work and product priorities, reducing unplanned POCs and side initiatives Tackle tech debt and platform scaling, identify and sequence the highest-leverage architectural improvements (pot. in collaboration with further external support) Co-own the technology roadmap with the CTO & CPO, aligning platform and infrastructure investments with product priorities
