About the company A technology-driven quantitative finance firm operating in a high-performance, low-latency environment. The team builds and runs its own infrastructure, and takes that seriously. This role sits at the centre of that. About the role This is a hands-on infrastructure engineering role with real scope. You will be building and maintaining the systems that underpin the entire technology environment, working closely with Security, Engineering, and Operations. The infrastructure is greenfield in meaningful ways, which means decisions you make now will have lasting impact. This is not a ticket-driven role. You will be expected to own problems end to end, run structured experiments to improve system performance and reliability, and translate those findings into production-ready solutions. What you will be doing Designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and cloud Owning configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting across servers
Requirements
endpoints, and services Running experiments to improve performance, reliability, and system design, then turning those learnings into durable solutions Contributing to architectural decisions that support growth and operational resilience Collaborating with Security, Engineering, and Operations teams on cross-functional infrastructure work What we are looking for 4+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering, ideally in a complex, high-performance environment Strong fundamentals across operating systems, networking, and compute Hands-on experience across cloud platforms and infrastructure tooling (IaC, config management, etc.) Strong ability to reason from first principles, including how networks, operating systems, and computers fundamentally work A structured, high-ownership approach to problem solving Comfortable operating with autonomy in a fast-moving environment Degree in a relevant subject from a strong university
