Slalom Flex (Project Based) - Fullstack Engineer

• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, and product teams to plan, design, and deliver end-to-end features
• Build and maintain high-quality, performant, and secure web applications across the frontend and backend
• Take ownership of complex technical initiatives, from architecture through deployment and long-term maintenance
• Design, implement, and maintain APIs and backend services using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
• Deploy and manage containerized services in cloud environments
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement of engineering practices

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack development: React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, including backend development with Node.js
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating containerized services in cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of relational database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Proven track record of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web-based software systems

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range varies depending on location. If based in California, the range will be $50/hr-$63/hr. If based in Austin, the range will be $45/hr-$55/hr. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
