Security Engineer

The Security Engineer is responsible for implementing and operating security controls across enterprise systems, endpoints, identity, and cloud environments. This role partners closely with IT, Engineering, and Security Operations to improve detection, response, and prevention capabilities in a fast-paced, high-trust environment., * Implement and manage security tooling across endpoint, identity, network, and cloud environments

• Support security monitoring, alert triage, and incident response activities
• Build and maintain security automation and operational workflows to improve efficiency
• Partner with IT and Engineering teams to integrate security controls into infrastructure and applications
• Manage IAM controls including provisioning, access reviews, and role-based access
• Support vulnerability management efforts including scanning, prioritization, and remediation tracking
• Maintain security documentation, standards, and runbooks

• 4 years of experience in Security Engineering, Information Security, or related roles
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, endpoint protection, or IAM platforms
• Strong understanding of networking, operating systems, and security fundamentals
• Experience supporting incident response and security operations workflows
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, * Experience securing SaaS, cloud, or hybrid environments
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO
• Experience with scripting or automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash)

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting distributed or creative workforces
• Security certifications (Security , GSEC, or similar)

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
