Job description

Manager wants like 15 years of experience. Need PURE Google Cloud Platform. He doesn't want someone with a big mix of AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform., Cloud Architecture and Design: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), ensuring solutions meet business requirements and security standards.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop, manage, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of Google Cloud Platform resources, promoting consistency and repeatability.

Automation and CI/CD: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of applications and infrastructure, improving development velocity and reliability.

Security and Compliance: Implement and manage robust security controls, identity and access management (IAM), and network security configurations to protect cloud environments and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Collaboration and Support: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to provide expert guidance on Google Cloud Platform best practices, troubleshoot complex issues, and support application modernization efforts.

Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of Google Cloud Platform environments, while actively managing and optimizing costs. Hands on Terraform coding.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience as an IT Systems Engineer or similar role.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, server administration, and system security.

Proficient in implementing and managing virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their associated services.
