Job description
We are looking for a React Native Engineer to help scale our iOS app.
This is a founding-level role, ideal for someone who wants real ownership, real impact, and the opportunity to shape the product from the ground up.
What You Will Work On
- Rebuilding the Vedoc mobile app using React Native with an iOS-first focus
- Integrating with our existing backend built on Ruby on Rails and PostgreSQL APIs
- Building clean, scalable UI from Figma designs
- Implementing real-time features such as service tracking, request flow, and notifications
- Optimizing performance and ensuring a smooth user experience across devices
- Collaborating directly with the founder and development team on product decisions
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React Native, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Backend: Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL
- Infrastructure: AWS EC2, Nginx
- Design: Figma

Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS application development?, * Experience with React Native through production apps or strong personal projects
- Solid understanding of mobile UI and UX principles
- Experience working with APIs and asynchronous data flows
- Ability to move quickly, take ownership, and build with minimal structure
- A startup mindset and comfort with ambiguity and iteration
Preferred but not required
- Experience launching apps on the App Store
- Familiarity with real-time systems such as WebSockets or push notifications
- Experience working with early-stage startups
