Job description
The Specialist, Data, Systems, and Research supports the rollout, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of RPS's ERP system and trains RPS staff on how to use the system. The Specialist is also responsible for collecting and analyzing data related to vacancies, hiring, and other Talent Acquisition functions. Additionally, the Specialist supports all data collection, analysis, and reporting related to Talent Office functions and tasks for both internal and external stakeholders., * Supports the division's implementation and ongoing maintenance of the ERP, working collaboratively with departments across the division.
- Maintains generalized knowledge of all aspects of the ERP, specializing in Finance functions.
- Conducts training for RPS staff on how to use the ERP, and holds weekly virtual office hours.
- Manages the annual cycle of hiring data, including developing a vacancy tracking dashboard, job application data analysis, and recruitment timeline data analysis.
- Supports all Talent Office departments by collaborating to manage data, developing recommendations based on data analysis, and meeting all reporting requirements.
- Provides exemplary customer service to RPS staff via the LINQ ERP inbox, phone, and in person communication.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a related field.
- Excel and database expertise required.
- Coding experience in at least one language / statistical package required (Stata preferred).
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work with employees.
- Track record of success in developing, implementing, and monitoring data projects.
- Strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities and organization/planning skills.
- Ability to form strong relationships and collaborate with students, team members, teachers, administrators, and other community and business stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, including keen attention to detail and ease at managing competing demands and determining priorities independently.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; adaptable when managing multiple, shifting priorities; comfortable with ambiguity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate complex ideas simply and succinctly.
- Prior work experience in a public school division preferred.
- Bilingual/fluency in Spanish preferred.
