Job description
- Solution design & delivery: Contribute to end-to-end AI/ML and GenAI solution designs using OCI (e.g., OCI Data Science, OCI Generative AI, OCI AI Services), supporting reference architectures and implementation patterns.
- Hands-on build: Develop, integrate, test, and deploy AI-driven components (e.g., model pipelines, RAG/chat experiences, API integrations) within enterprise constraints.
- Data readiness: Support data acquisition, cleansing, transformation, and storage approaches required for AI use cases, partnering with data engineering teams as needed.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Gather requirements, translate business needs into technical tasks, and communicate trade-offs, risks, and dependencies clearly.
- Quality, performance, and security: Implement solutions aligned to scalability, reliability, and privacy/security expectations; participate in reviews and remediation.
- GenAI execution: Apply LLM concepts (prompting strategies, evaluation, safety considerations, and grounding approaches) to build production-oriented experiences.
- Documentation: Produce and maintain technical documentation (design notes, diagrams, runbooks, and implementation guides).
- Team development: Mentor junior practitioners through day-to-day guidance, code/design reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in consulting or industry, with at least 3 years in AI/ML solution architecture
- 4+ years experience with AI development tools and frameworks
- 2+ years experience using AI concepts, Gen AI cycle, AI Agent, machine learning, and deep learning
- 2+ years experience with LLM architectures, training techniques, and prompting strategies
- 2+ years experience using generative AI to help users generate text, summaries, or other forms of content
- 1+ year experience in Oracle GenAI, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services for AI, such as OCI Data Science, OCI Vision, and OCI Language
- 1+ years experience with using OCI's Generative AI service to build a chatbot that can answer customer inquiries using a company's knowledge base
- Knowledge of data management, security, and governance principles.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred
- Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Oracle Machine Learning Specialist)
- Experience with MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of industry-specific AI applications (e.g., finance, healthcare, supply chain)
- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced consulting environment
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $136,700 to $188,900.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
