Job description
As an Analyst, Broker Partner Insights, you will be responsible for assessing the performance and growth opportunity for our broker & partner relationships by leveraging internal and third-party data. You will work cross-functionally across WPS to provide targeted reporting & Insights for Distribution, assessing both current Broker/Partner performance and growth potential.
What you'll be doing
- Provides strategic reporting to build and enhance the proficiency of our broker strategy.
- Translates complex data into clear, compelling insights, visualizations, and executive-level summaries to support strategic decision-making.
- Identifies future growth opportunities by analyzing whitespace, market potential, segmentation, and competitive positioning within broker and partner relationships.
- Monitors ongoing performance against targets and KPIs, highlighting opportunities for optimization and areas requiring intervention.
- Collaborates with Distribution to understand broker/partner trends, upcoming meetings, and develop reporting to drive positive outcomes.
- Assists in the development of broker reporting dashboards in alignment with organizational deliverables to drive broker insight.
- Works cross-functionally with regional reporting leads, communicating new Broker/Partner insights and reporting tools.
- Analyzes broker and partner performance by leveraging internal data sources and third-party market intelligence to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Partners cross-functionally across WPS (e.g., Distribution, Sales, Product, Finance, Marketing) to align analytics with business objectives and partner strategies.
- Assesses current broker and partner portfolios to evaluate production, profitability, retention, and mix of business.
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and internal stakeholders regarding broker reporting tools and presentation material
- Identifies process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality across the team, department, and/or business unit.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting by validating data sources, assumptions, and methodologies.
- Continuously enhance analytics capabilities by improving dashboards, reporting processes, and insight delivery based on stakeholder feedback and evolving business needs.
- Seizes training and development opportunities, including stretch assignments to expand business knowledge., This position may be subject to Lincoln's Political Contribution Policy. Requirements
Must-Haves:
- 5+ Years experience in financial reporting, data modeling, group insurance sales, broker relations, and/ or other experience directly related to the specific responsibilities of this position
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

The pay range for this position is $72,900 - $131,600 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln's total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln's standard benefits package.
