Job description
Kforce has a client in Birmingham, AL that is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer with strong native mobile experience to join a high-performing team supporting large-scale mobile applications. This role requires deep hands-on development in either iOS or Android, with the ability to contribute immediately in an agile environment., * Design, develop, and maintain native mobile applications for iOS and/or Android
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using modern frameworks
- Integrate third-party libraries and APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineering
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and iterative delivery
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
- Provide clear status updates and collaborate effectively with team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a mobile developer working with native OS architectures
- Strong hands-on experience with: iOS: Swift, SwiftUI; Android: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose
- Experience with third-party libraries and API integrations
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Comfortable working within a defined Agile Scrum process
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to collaborate and reach consensus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store or Google Play Store
- Exposure to both iOS and Android platforms
- Experience working in large-scale or enterprise environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
