Requirements

  • Administration experience on Omnissa Horizon View 8.x Infrastructure
  • Hands on expertise on upgrade of Connection servers & its associated VDI Infrastructure components
  • Have clear understanding on Managing Horizon View Certificates and timely updating
  • Instant Clone and Persistent Desktop pools VDI Management skill on Horizon View 8.x Infrastructure
  • Should be able to create, manage and scale Persistent and Dynamic desktop pools according to business needs
  • Troubleshooting skills of VDI connectivity and components like View Agent, View Client, Printers, Display issues
  • Able to create and deploy Golden Template and Master Image required for VDI OS and Version upgrades
  • Should be well versed with Cloud POD architecture and able to resolve replication issues with connection servers in ADAM DB
  • Should have good understanding on RDSH based deployments of applications for multiple users and will be able to do software upgrade in phased manner
  • Should have excellent skills on VDI performance tuning and able to analyse and resolve slowness issues with help of tools like Systrack, VMware vROPS, vCenter Performance charts
  • Need to have good skill on Ivanti Environment Manager and Application Manager deployments and enforcements
  • Should be able to work with Omnissa and other vendors to escalate product related issues and close it independently.
  • Have good understanding of SCCM deployments and troubleshoot software installation issues on VDI's
  • Have good understanding of FS Logix profiles and MS One drive concepts to resolve user issues
  • Have good understanding of O365 and Outlook issues with user profile and resolve user issues.
  • Should be well versed with Powershell scripts and automation for large scale reporting and deployments
  • Should have good understanding on Monitoring consoles to monitor the VDI's availability
  • Expected to have ITIL Incident and Change management skills and have willingness to save SLA's and Timelines.
