Hardware Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain scalable systems that support abuse detection, legal compliance, and platform safety initiatives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and build distributed tools and services that detect and mitigate platform abuse
• Develop and maintain data pipelines that collect and analyze abuse signals at scale
• Build and enhance Trust & Safety tools supporting compliance and legal response workflows
• Improve architecture and performance of mission-critical security and compliance services
• Collaborate with security, legal, and product teams to implement scalable technical solutions
• Contribute to monitoring, observability, and reliability improvements across production systems
• Write well-tested, modular code following engineering best practices

• Must-Haves:

• 5-20 years of software engineering or systems engineering experience
• Strong experience building distributed systems or backend services
• Strong Go and TypeScript experience within the past year
• Experience building data pipelines or event-driven architectures
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and reliability

• Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience working with Temporal workflows
• Background in Trust & Safety, cybersecurity, or abuse detection systems
• Experience supporting legal/compliance pipelines
