IT Support Specialist

This IT Support Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to provide on-campus IT support in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You''ll work closely with faculty and executives to ensure efficient IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support for both PC and MAC environments, diagnosing and solving hardware and software issues.\t
• Collaborate on telecom and networking infrastructure repairs, liaising with the Network team for solutions.\t
• Play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining user accounts on platforms like Active Directory and Microsoft 365.\t
• Take charge of asset management, including inventory control and equipment decommissioning.\t
• Oversee AV setups for meetings, ensuring all systems function flawlessly.\t
• Be on standby for potential outages or urgent IT needs, sometimes outside of regular hours.\t
• Partake in departmental and client meetings to stay aligned with objectives and provide feedback and insights.

• Minimum of 2 years'' experience working with both Windows and MAC operating systems.\t
• Proficient in administering user and group objects within Active Directory.\t
• Strong background in managing Office 365 and Exchange mailboxes.\t
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail and adherence to processes.\t
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive stakeholder relationships., * Experience with Cisco IP phones and Call Manager support.\t
• Prior exposure to Office 365 and Windows server platform support.\t
• Technical certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA A+, or equivalent credentials.
