Job description

Insight Global is looking to hire an IT Asset Management Specialist for one of our clients in Cleveland, OH. This is a high-impact role supporting a large-scale device deployment initiative that will expand the organization's managed asset portfolio to over 6,000 devices, including laptops and iPads across multiple business units, * Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning across a fleet of 6,000+ devices

  • Oversee and execute a large-scale rollout of laptops and iPads to field managers and corporate users
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date asset records within the organization's ITSM platform (Jira)
  • Coordinate the integration and tracking of newly acquired assets from a recently onboarded business unit
  • Collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure asset deployment timelines are met
  • Develop and maintain asset management documentation, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Monitor device inventory levels and proactively identify gaps, discrepancies, or equipment needs
  • Support ongoing device management activities post-deployment, ensuring all assets remain properly tracked and accounted for

Requirements

2-5 years of experience in hardware asset management

  • Experience managing full asset lifecycle (procurement, deployment, tracking, and decommissioning)
  • Demonstrated experience of managing inventories of 1,000+ devices (laptops, tablets)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with an ITSM Platform (Jira)
