Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a technical area or equivalent work experience
- 6 years experience in SQL database administration
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change.
- Proven communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, technical, and writing skills.
- MS SQL Server Administration
- MS SQL Transact SQL Programming (T-SQL)
- MS SQL Data Transformation Services (DTS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) programming.
- Performance Tuning of Hardware & MS SQL Server.
- MS SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
- MS SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Demonstrates an advanced understanding of the following:
- Database modeling/normalization
- Indexing strategies and maintenance
- Backup and recovery models
- Clustering and high availability, * Vendor Certified SQL Administrator
- Other database-related certification/s
