About the role: PMAT is seeking a senior-level Network Infrastructure professional to lead and sustain enterprise network operations supporting both corporate and mission environments. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of PMAT's network infrastructure while providing technical leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset, with the ability to operate independently, mentor others, and collaborate across internal teams and external partners to deliver resilient, secure network capabilities., * Lead network infrastructure operations, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless environments across local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN).

Ensure the security, availability, and performance of network infrastructure through continuous monitoring, routine maintenance, and proactive issue resolution.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system-wide issues, identifying root causes and implementing sustainable solutions.

Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall rules, access controls, and identity management solutions (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure).

Support and maintain related systems, including servers, virtualization environments, security cameras, and other network-connected infrastructure.

Create, maintain, and update comprehensive network documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

Participate in strategic planning efforts by contributing to network architecture, technology roadmaps, standards, and policies.

Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to system administrators and other technical staff.

Serve as a technical lead or project lead for network-related initiatives, upgrades, and implementations.

Coordinate with and manage vendors to procure, deploy, and support network hardware and services., * Network infrastructure: Installing, configuring, and upgrading network hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless environment.

Maintenance and monitoring: Performing routine maintenance and continuous monitoring of network performance, availability, and security.

Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving both common and complex network and system-wide problems.

Security: Implementing and managing network security measures, including firewall rules and user access controls (e.g., M365).

Server and system support: Managing and maintaining network servers, virtualization environments, and other related systems.

Documentation: Creating and maintaining comprehensive network documentation, reports, and system architecture diagrams.

Strategic planning: Participating in the development of network and technology strategies, standards, and policies.

Technical leadership: Providing technical direction and training to other system administrators and technical staff.

Project management: Acting as a project leader for network-related projects.

Vendor management: Coordinating with and managing vendors for hardware and services.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Wireless networking?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum 10+ years of hands-on technical experience in the following areas, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
- CCNA or equivalent
Citizenship and Clearance requirements:
- US Citizenship
- No dual citizenship
- Active DOD Secret security clearance required
- Active DOD TS (w/ SCI eligibility) security clearance preferred
