In the role of Data Engineer at Hasbro, you will:
- Build highly scalable, reliable, and performant pipelines. These pipelines consume, integrate, and analyze large volumes of complex data using various proprietary and open-source platforms and tools.
- Collaborate with engineers, producers, business partners, and analysts to elicit, translate, and prescribe requirements for their needs.
- Stay ahead of the technology curve and make recommendations about technologies to build current and future products.
- Support the progression of technology solutions from conception through release and into live operations.
- Implement processes, procedures, and documentation standards to ensure compliance with internal Technology and Corporate IT regulations.

We have an opening for a Data Engineer to become part of our high-profile Analytics group that is helping Hasbro connect more effectively with consumers through engaging products and entertainment. In this position, apply your skills in software engineering, cloud-based analytics platforms, and working with business partners to grow our comprehensive analytics data ecosystem., * 3+ years of experience working with cloud data platforms like Redshift, Databricks, and Snowflake (Snowflake Preferred).
- More than one year of background working with Cloud Technologies (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Background in data warehousing, data quality, and monitoring.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
- Experience working in a DevOps environment.
- Experience in managing data streams (KAFKA preferred).
- Experience integrating AI solutions into new and existing technologies to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and elevate the consumer experience.
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Familiarity with an Agile workflow environment.
