Job description
- The traveling Network Deployment Technician will focus on maintaining the technology, integrity, and functionality of network infrastructure components. Implement and maintain switches, configure, and manage network devices to achieve optimal performance and maximum availability., * Implement and maintain switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and other related networking devices
- Participate in root cause analysis and recommend product enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve reliability and functionality
- Collaborate and implement new hardware and software installations/upgrades
- Work with cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of information technology
Requirements
Do you have experience in System maintenance?, * Must be able to perform advanced network diagnostic and troubleshooting tasks for Cisco switches and routers, including troubleshooting service delivery points, equipment status, system alerts, and user's service requests; provide status, document support problems, and initiate repair or replacement actions.
- Relevant network certifications or equivalent: Cisco CCNA
- Understanding of the TCP/IP Model
- Proven experience with network diagnostics and network analytics tools
- Proven experience with Cisco network equipment
- Network troubleshooting skills
- A comprehensive Knowledge of switching, routing, VPN, DNS, and subnetting
- Structured Cabling knowledge
- Familiar with verification/validation testing of all equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
- The ability to effectively communicate to customers and coworkers
Job Related Experience
- Requires 3-5 years' hands-on experience with implementation, administration, maintenance, and provisioning of Cisco network equipment, including but not limited to, routers, switches, wireless controllers.
- Arista Switch experience
- Experience troubleshooting and solving problems and building solutions
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Travel and adapt to quick requests to ensure customer satisfaction, * Cisco switches: 4 years (Required)
- LAN: 3 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- CCNA (Required)
