Job description

We are seeking a WinClient Touch Services Technician to support and sustain factory computing systems, including WinClient workstations, Remote Operations Center systems, and factory network components. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and collaboration with cross-functional IT teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment., * Support and maintain factory computing hardware, including WinClient and ROC (Windows-based) systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware/software issues at system, module, and component levels.
  • Perform Windows imaging and system configurations.
  • Collaborate with IT Networks, Windows teams, GOS Service Desk, and Process Integration (PI) to resolve complex issues.
  • Manage parts inventory, including ordering, forecasting, stocking, and disposal of equipment.
  • Handle multiple issues simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communicate with customers, technicians, and technical teams to provide timely updates and resolutions.
  • Support ongoing factory operations and project-based work.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of technical support experience.
  • Experience with Windows imaging and intermediate Windows OS troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows 7/8/10.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical activities (walk/stand/crawl/kneel).
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and take ownership of responsibilities.
