Job description
- Travel to customer locations to perform onsite technical support and hardware repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with laptops, desktops, and printers
- Install, maintain, and replace IT hardware components
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain clear communication with end users
- Document service activities, updates, and resolutions accurately
- Manage daily dispatch schedules and respond promptly to service calls
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
Requirements
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Technician to provide onsite technical support while dispatching from home. This role requires strong hands-on technical skills, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to travel to client locations to resolve hardware issues., * Field Service Experience - Prior experience in a dispatch-based role requiring travel
- Hardware Repair Skills - Hands-on experience with laptops, desktops, and printers, * 1-2 years of hands-on field service or desktop support experience preferred
- CompTIA A+ certification (Required)
- Additional certifications (e.g., Fuji, Lenovo, Lexmark) are a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote/field-based environment
Benefits & conditions
- Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Overtime, weekends, and after-hours work may be required
- On-call: Yes (rotation-based)
- Shift Differential: No
Travel Requirements
- Daily travel: 50-150 miles (varies based on service calls)
- Candidates must be comfortable with extensive driving
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
