Implementation Experience: 3 5 End-to-End SAP S/4HANA Implementations (SD-focused) Position Summary We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Lead to drive the design, implementation, and global rollout of SAP S/4HANA Sales & Distribution (SD) solutions. This role will play a critical part in standardizing Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes while supporting complex U.S. pharmaceutical commercial sales operations. Key Responsibilities 1. SAP SD Solution Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA SD solutions across global business units
- Own the full Order-to-Cash (O2C) lifecycle: sales orders, delivery, billing, returns, and credit/debit processes
- Drive global template design and standardization
- U.S. Pharmaceutical Commercial Expertise

Design SAP SD solutions tailored to U.S. pharma sales models including:

Distributor-based sales

Pricing agreements

Chargebacks, rebates, and promotions

Returns management

Collaborate closely with commercial and finance stakeholders
- Integration & Ecosystem
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP modules: FICO, MM, WM/EWM, PP, QM
- Lead integrations with external systems including 3PLs, EDI platforms, distributors, and logistics partners
- S/4HANA Implementation & Rollout
- Lead all phases: blueprinting, configuration, testing, cutover, go-live, and hypercare
- Support global rollout initiatives across India and Ireland
- Master Data & Governance
- Govern SD master data including customer master, pricing conditions, and hierarchies
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
- Compliance & Audit
- Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary SAP SD lead for U.S. stakeholders
- Lead system integrators and mentor SAP SD consultants
Requirements
- 15 18 years of SAP SD experience, preferably in Pharma/Life Sciences
- Proven experience with 3 5 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
- Strong expertise in O2C, pricing, billing, and returns
- Deep integration knowledge across SAP modules (FICO, MM, WM/EWM, PP, QM)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, * U.S. pharmaceutical commercial sales experience
- Experience with wholesalers, distributors, chargebacks, and rebates
- Exposure to aATP (Advanced Available-to-Promise) and Settlement Management
