Job description
- Drive and influence enterprise data-decision making processes for a simplified and streamlined front to back data flows and a mature enterprise data architecture.
- Identify data flow, data duplication, data lineage and data quality gaps across the enterprise applications and drive data gap remediations among a diverse group of stakeholders.
- Provide feedback and guidance on streamlined data architecture and activities.
- Identify opportunities for data optimization, data flows and data processes simplification
Requirements
- Prior data architecture and data management experience with a large financial services firm
- Prior success working with business and information technology teams.
- Proven ability to achieve success within a large organization, especially as it relates to data models, data taxonomy, data standards and data quality.
- Proven ability to support multiple workstreams.
- Keen interest in developing knowledge of Data Architecture and Management practices.
- Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in matters of importance to our work., * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or a related field.
- 10+ years' experience in Data Architecture and Data Management
- Understanding data lineage and metadata management.
- Experience with business glossary and data dictionaries in the global capital markets.
- Experience with visualization tools (Tableau), SQL and Python.
- Strong analytical skills, with ability to collect, absorb, and analyze information quickly and independently
- Proven ability to develop and work with cross functional processes and project timeline
- Excellent follow-through, attention to detail and time management skills
Benefits & conditions
$125,000 - $226,250 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
