About the Role

We're looking for a Network Specialist who loves solving problems, thrives in a fast-moving environment.

This role gives you a mix of hands-on networking, client support, project work, and the autonomy to make decisions that actually matter.

What You'll Do

Network Engineering & Support

  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, VLANs, and firewalls
  • Support and secure remote access solutions (VPNs, SSL, IPSec, etc.)
  • Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues
  • Optimize Wi-Fi systems and implement best practices
  • Use monitoring tools to proactively catch and resolve issues

Security & Compliance

  • Apply security policies and hardening standards across clients
  • Support compliance initiatives like PCI, HIPAA, and internal audits
  • Assist with onboarding clients into standardized security stacks

MSP Operations & Support

  • Serve as a escalation point for helpdesk
  • Work with the team to improve processes, documentation, and standards
  • Participate in scheduled on-call rotations
  • Help deliver projects such as:
  • Network rebuilds
  • Firewall upgrades
  • Server migrations
  • Wi-Fi redesigns
  • New location IT deployments

Client Communication & Relationship Building

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
  • Help guide them through issues and project outcomes
  • Represent TKG's values in every interaction

Scorecard & Success Metrics

  • Strong client satisfaction and communication
  • Dependable follow-through and project execution
  • Stable, well-documented client networks
  • Proactive identification and resolution of recurring issues, Company events, monthly team lunches, fun committees, awards, camping trips - we believe work should be enjoyable.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Process improvement?, * 3-5 years of networking or MSP experience

  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
  • Familiarity with SonicWall, Cisco, UniFi, or similar hardware
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and curiosity
  • Great communication and documentation skills
  • A drive to learn, improve, and take ownership
