Job description
The Application Analyst supports and optimizes the organization's vendor-supported inpatient video visit platform, enabling high-quality virtual care for hospitalized patients. This role ensures the platform is reliably integrated into clinical workflows, maintains compliance with healthcare regulations, and delivers a seamless experience for clinicians, patients, and care teams. The analyst functions as a key liaison between clinical stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors, ensuring that inpatient telehealth capabilities enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience supporting clinical applications in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Healthcare Systems Analysis and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations
- Experience with EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Familiarity with healthcare integration standards (HL7, FHIR)
- Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Nursing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
The ideal candidate will have: Strong experience supporting clinical applications in a healthcare environment, with the ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams to troubleshoot systems, implement enhancements, and support integrations while ensuring compliance with healthcare standards such as HIPAA.
Benefits & conditions
Pay Range*: $50 - $56 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
