Job description

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in cloud infrastructure and automation, is seeking a Systems Administrator to join their team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of the Azure Engineering Support team, supporting large-scale cloud environments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully within the organization., * Manage and scale a large Azure VM environment, including day-to-day administration and platform optimization

  • Develop and implement automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
  • Perform system configuration management, OS installations, and security updates
  • Monitor system health, verify hardware and network integrity, and troubleshoot issues
  • Document infrastructure and automation processes for knowledge sharing and long-term planning, * Opportunity to work on large-scale, innovative cloud infrastructure projects
  • Engage with cutting-edge automation and security practices
  • Collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team
  • Contribute to high-impact projects supporting Azure's FPGA build infrastructure

Requirements

  • Systems Administration in Azure, 5+ years
  • Containers, 7+ years
  • Network Security, 7+ years, * Minimum of 10+ years experience in systems or network administration
  • Proven expertise in Azure portal administration, including scripting with BiCep and ARM templates
  • Extensive experience with containers, Kubernetes clusters, and network security
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot hardware and network issues
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field
