Job description

The Vice President of IS and Chief Technology Officer (VP, CTO) is a visionary leader responsible for the strategic direction, operation, and innovation of the hospital's technology ecosystem. This role oversees the technical infrastructure planning and deployment for the entire organization from the server and storage layers to the workstations and mobile devices in a clinician's hand. This position will be the primary thought leader and designer on our modernization journey, leading our transition toward cloud-native solutions and designing the "Hospital of the Future" for new growth expansion efforts. This role is a bridge-builder who aligns complex technical infrastructure with the compassionate mission of pediatric care, ensuring that technology empowers our staff rather than hindering them.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Masters in technical/engineering related field or MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive IT leadership experience.
  • Proven track record managing hybrid cloud environments and large-scale data center operations.
  • Direct experience with "ground-up" facility construction or large-scale digital transformation projects.
  • Experience in large healthcare organizations preferred.
