Network Technician I

• Patching cabling between network equipment and customer's network.
• Installation of power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet.
• Installation, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment.
• Install/swap out cables, switches routers etc.
• Complete all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels.
• Provide infrastructure cabling break-fix services for network infrastructure.
• Perform layer 1 troubleshooting
• Support carrier testing of circuits.
• Power and uninterruptable power supply (UPS) restoral.
• Emergency cooling restoration.
• Fire suppression exercises, restoration, and post fire events.

• 2-5 yrs experience relevant experience, preferably at least 1 year in a data center environment.
• In-depth knowledge of structured calculating.
• Knowledge of IEEE and BICSI cabling standards.
• Experienced with Fluke Versiv Mainframe.
• Requires experience in working in a data centers and communications closets.

Pay Range*: $25 - $28 hour.
