Job description
To design, implement, manage & maintain Mastercard's Global Network which includes Datacenter, Customer, and Corporate Networks across a diverse range of platforms Translate Network designs to implementation plans with associated change control(s) Engagement with stakeholders including impacted end users & other technology areas to manage upcoming change Act as an escalation point for Operations in the resolution of incidents Support Architecture teams in the development of new technologies with high & low level designs Comply with current standards & best practice Support internal & external audit processes Evaluate & support the adoption of new infrastructure & technologies to meet business requirements Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:

Requirements
Network engineering, design, operations, and/or architecture expertise with exposure to the following areas: F5, Citrix NetScaler, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VOIP, QoS, Routing & Switching technologies while adhering to standard design methodologies and best practices Mastery of TCP/IP protocol communications and application layer Load Balancing experience: F5 LTM, GLSB, WAF, AFM, AVR Deep Packet inspection & analysis using tools like Wireshark Expert knowledge in PKI, DNS and certificates Experience of deploying load balancers in Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform Firewall experience: Palo Alto, Checkpoint Routing & Switching: Cisco, Arista Extensive knowledge of Network diagnostics, protocols, and disciplines, VxLAN, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, SNMP, VPN, SSH, and MPLS technologies. Knowledge of security and encryption technologies including IPSEC & GRE tunnels on routers and firewalls, Woking knowledge of scripting tools such as git, bash, Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, PowerShell, Python. Desirable or additional capabilities Strong verbal & written communications skills, and excellent customer support capabilities Self-motivated demonstrating strong organizational and listening skills; and very detail oriented with the ability to carry out assigned tasks with minimal supervision Ability to consistently act in a professional manner and communicate with all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Methodical problem resolving skills and mastery of developing high level and detailed network designs; solid web applications and technologies a plus; Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCDP Design, engineer, and implementation of Software Defined Networking. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Math, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
