Job description
Data Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and evolve cloud-based and big-data analytics architectures supporting Aruba Supply Chain reporting, risk assessment, and forecasting use cases.
- Architect end-to-end analytical data pipelines, integrating data from enterprise systems such as SAP (S/4), SC360, EGI, MSP Workbench, and other upstream sources.
- Define and maintain data models, transformation logic, and metadata standards to ensure consistency across global reporting.
Supply Chain Analytics & Risk Assessment
- Own and continuously enhance material risk and backlog risk assessment frameworks, incorporating multiple hold codes, shortage classifications, and confidence modeling techniques.
- Develop and maintain order conversion rate methodologies, including historical analysis, scenario modeling, and quarter-specific assumptions to support revenue and load projections.
- Deliver analytics that enable proactive identification of material shortages, backlog exposure, fulfillment risks, and revenue impacts.
Business Intelligence & Executive Reporting
- Build and maintain enterprise-grade BI dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI and Excel-based models) used in weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive forums.
- Ensure reporting accuracy for key metrics
- Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, decision-ready insights for senior leaders across Supply Chain, S&OP, and Global Operations.
Data Engineering, Automation & Platform Enablement
- Drive automation of data extraction, transformation, and reporting workflows, reducing manual effort and improving reliability.
- Partner with IT and platform teams to support data infrastructure hardening, including staging server capacity, performance tuning, and pipeline stability.
- Contribute to platform modernization initiatives, including adoption of cloud data platforms and emerging technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Python-based automation).
Operational Support & Escalation Management
- Act as a key analytical escalation point for time-sensitive operational issues, such as shipment discrepancies, serial number investigations, valuation anomalies, and PO recovery.
- Support Quality Engineering, Planning, and Fulfillment teams with ad-hoc deep-dive analytics during critical incidents.
- Ensure rapid turnaround and high data confidence during executive escalations and reviews.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Supply Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, S&OP, Finance, and IT teams across regions (AMS, EMEA, APJ).
- Influence global reporting standards by contributing to definitions, glossaries, and alignment efforts across regions.
- Coach and mentor junior analysts and engineers, promoting best practices in analytics, data quality, and inclusive collaboration.
- Foster an inclusive, respectful team culture by encouraging diverse perspectives and constructive feedback.

- Support a global operating model, requiring flexibility to engage with teams across time zones, including early-morning and late-evening collaboration as needed.
Requirements

Master's degree in Data & Analytics, Data Architecture, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

10+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Data Architecture, Supply Chain Analytics, or enterprise IT environments.

Demonstrated experience transitioning analytics solutions from design to production in complex, global organizations.
Knowledge and Skills
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience with:
- Big Data platforms and Data Warehousing
- Analytical data modeling and solution design
- SQL-based data analysis and transformation
- BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel models)
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Python-based automation).
- Understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, metadata management, and operational data stores.
Supply Chain & Business Acumen
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain concepts including:
- Backlog and order management
- Shipments and fulfillment flows
- Material shortages and risk categorization
- Revenue projection and conversion dynamics
- Ability to connect analytical outputs directly to business and operational decisions.

- United States of America: Annual Salary USD 119,500 - 275,000 in Texas The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered."
