Job description

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance in the effective use of database management systems (DBMS).
  • Perform system analysis and programming utilizing modern DBMS technologies.
  • Design and deploy database applications, incorporating efficient file structures, indexing strategies, and security measures tailored to user requirements.
  • Assess and recommend DBMS solutions based on validated business and user needs.
  • Develop, implement, and manage database backup and recovery processes to maintain integrity, security, and availability.
  • Ensure strong data management practices are upheld to support and sustain the operational environment.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Database management?, * Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in database management, including experience with DBMS internals and application design.

  • Must be capable of providing high technical expertise and support for DBMS.
  • Evaluate and recommend available DBMS products supporting user requirements.
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority. Examples include, but are not limited to:
  • MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Development
  • MCSA: SQL 2016 Database Administration
  • Clearance - Secret, While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, feel, touch; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is regularly required to lift up to 10 pounds. The employee is frequently required to lift up to 25 pounds; and up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
