The Principal Business Analyst II is a senior-level contributor responsible for leading complex, high-visibility SAP Modernization Program. This role operates with a high level of autonomy, applying advanced analytical capabilities and business acumen to drive meaningful improvements in operational performance and customer outcomes. The analyst is expected to support and influence strategic decisions through in-depth evaluation of business needs, technical feasibility, and enterprise alignment. This includes working closely with business and IT leadership to define and prioritize requirements, establish implementation strategies, and ensure successful delivery of large-scale solutions. The role requires demonstrated experience working across departments, engaging with executive stakeholders, leading the documentation of current and future state processes, and recommending technology alternatives that meet functional and non-functional business needs. - Partner with senior leaders to align SAP Modernization Program strategic goals with business objectives
- Establish governance frameworks for business analysis and project execution
- Evaluate and recommend enterprise technology solutions to improve performance
- Manage high-impact projects, ensuring compliance with budget and timelines
- Oversee reporting structures to measure success and identify areas for improvement
- Leverage Existing Analytical Reporting tools to visually illustrate the health of a program

Requirements

Additionally, the Principal Business Analyst 2 helps guide less experienced analysts, contributes to the evolution of business analysis practices, and ensures business needs are translated effectively into measurable outcomes., * Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency with PowerBI
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Department of Energy's regulation 10 CFR 810 is required.
