Job description
- Support and execute environmental testing activities including thermal cycling, TVAC, and other qualification and acceptance tests
- Operate test equipment and assist with test setup, execution, and teardown in an environmental test lab
- Perform root cause and corrective action (RCCA) investigations for test failures, non-conformances, and production issues
- Analyze test data to identify trends, failure modes, and opportunities for process or design improvement
- Create, update, and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and test documentation
- Serve as a technical liaison between test, manufacturing, quality, and design engineering teams
- Support troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems during integration, test, and production
- Identify opportunities to improve test repeatability, efficiency, and documentation quality
- Support transition from development testing into production test and manufacturing environments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
- Prior experience supporting environmental testing in a lab or production environment
- Experience performing or supporting RCCA activities using structured problem-solving methods
- Strong ability to analyze test results and translate findings into corrective actions
- Experience creating and maintaining work instructions, SOPs, or test documentation
- Comfort working hands-on in a lab or manufacturing setting, * Experience with TVAC chambers, thermal cycling, vibration, or other environmental test methods
- Familiarity with qualification and acceptance testing (QTP/ATP)
- Background in low-rate, high-complexity manufacturing environments
- Exposure to automated test systems or reviewing test scripts (LabVIEW, TestStand, or similar)
- Experience collaborating closely with quality and production teams
- Strong technical writing skills and attention to detail

This is a Contract position based out of Kirkland, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
