Test Engineer

This Test Engineer role is primarily focused on supporting hardware testing and board bring-up for new designs. The position is hands-on and hardware-focused, with some involvement in scripting and test automation, although it is not a pure software or automation role. Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on hardware testing of new boards as they are developed.
• Assist with board bring-up processes.
• Create and execute detailed test plans.
• Perform hardware debugging during development and validation phases.
• Run existing test automation and make necessary light modifications.

• Proficiency in using Linux, including logging in and using common commands.
• Ability to run Python scripts from the command line and make modifications.
• Radio frequency knowledge and hardware testing expertise.
• Experience with test execution and using test equipment.
• Skills in RF, shock testing, and vibe testing.
• Ability in hardware bring-up and hardware debugging.
• Strong electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PCB testing and troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
• Strong background in electrical engineering.
• Understanding of basic electronics principles.
• Hands-on hardware skills.
• Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Comfortable debugging real hardware.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
