Job description
This Test Engineer role is primarily focused on supporting hardware testing and board bring-up for new designs. The position is hands-on and hardware-focused, with some involvement in scripting and test automation, although it is not a pure software or automation role. Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on hardware testing of new boards as they are developed.
- Assist with board bring-up processes.
- Create and execute detailed test plans.
- Perform hardware debugging during development and validation phases.
- Run existing test automation and make necessary light modifications.

Requirements
- Proficiency in using Linux, including logging in and using common commands.
- Ability to run Python scripts from the command line and make modifications.
- Radio frequency knowledge and hardware testing expertise.
- Experience with test execution and using test equipment.
- Skills in RF, shock testing, and vibe testing.
- Ability in hardware bring-up and hardware debugging.
- Strong electronics troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with PCB testing and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Solid foundation in Electrical Engineering fundamentals.
- Strong background in electrical engineering.
- Understanding of basic electronics principles.
- Hands-on hardware skills.
- Experience using lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
- Comfortable debugging real hardware.

This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
