Defines, enhances, implements and maintains security solutions for one or more networks and technology platforms. Establishes, implements and coordinates adherence to policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of information security services. Applies leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts; contributes to the development of new principles and concepts. Works on unusually complex problems and provides highly innovative solutions. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision; mentors or supervises employees in both firm and technical competencies. Bachelors degree and 8+ years of directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.
The Opportunity: Everyone knows security needs to be "baked in" to a system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cybersecurity skills and experience to lead the design and development of secure systems for the client. We're looking for a leader who can create industry best standard solutions for the client that will withstand even the most advanced cyber threats.
You'll lead and coordinate work to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need to come up with the best solutions, so you'll advise on new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. You'll guide the team through a critical approach to network design, providing alternatives and customizing solutions to maintain a balance of security enterprise needs and the broader mission.
This is a chance to lead a team to make a difference in the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure while supporting the warfighter. You'll oversee efforts to help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices such as endpoint-based detection, response EDR, multi-factor authentication, identity and access management, and advanced analytics. As a technical leader, you'll identify new opportunities to use cybersecurity solutions to help your clients meet their toughest challenges.

Requirements
8+ years of experience with enterprise environments, including on-prem, hybrid, and cloud-based systems 5+ years of experience leading enterprise architecture and designing security solution integrations, including SIEM and SOC solutions 5+ years of experience in cloud computing environments such as AWS or Azure 5+ years of experience leading teams in the integration of cyber capabilities in a geographically separated enterprise environment Experience leading teams of engineers, interacting regularly with the client, handling high-volume workloads with agility using Agile methods, and communicating at all levels Ability to configure, deploy, and implement Elastic on AWS or on-premises in an enterprise environment Secret clearance Bachelor's degree Nice If You Have: Experience with enterprise cloud, including IL4, IL-5, and IL-6, and traditional classified networks, including SIPRNet and JWICs Experience scripting with Python or Bash Experience with REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, and Regular Expressions Experience with NIST Special Publications relating to RMF, incident response, forensics, and system engineering Experience working with Terraform, AWS, CI/CD, and IaC Possession of excellent verbal and written communications skills, including presentation skills Elastic Certifications DoD 8570 IAT-II or III Certification such as Security+, CySA+, or GSEC Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
Benefits & conditions
Salary Range: $140,000 - $200,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
