Job description
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate deployment processes and operational workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of services within a dynamic cloud environment.
- Leverage expertise in DevOps, Continuous Integration, and Agile methodologies.
- Work across a comprehensive stack of cloud, automation, and big data technologies., * Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure components using AWS and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, configuration, and operational tasks using Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash, and Go.
- Administer and optimize Linux-based systems to ensure robust and secure operations.
- Implement and manage Continuous Integration pipelines for streamlined and reliable software delivery.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaborative development practices.
- Work with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Accumulo, Apache Spark, NiFi, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Trinio, and PrestoDB.
- Apply Agile/Scrum principles throughout the software development lifecycle and operations.
- Ensure service reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or Software Development and Bachelors in related field; or 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
