Job description

We are seeking a Secure Browser Security Engineer to support and expand an enterprise Secure Browser platform as it scales beyond a pilot into a global standard. This role focuses on engineering browser security policies, advanced troubleshooting, and helping transition Secure Browser capabilities in-house from vendor-managed solutions. Some key responsibilities include:

  • Engineer and manage Secure Browser policies via a cloud-based management console
  • Design controls for uploads, downloads, and user actions within websites using RPA (JSON-based scripting)
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and Intune-managed endpoints
  • Act as Level 3 support prior to vendor escalation
  • Analyze browser logs, dev tools, and security telemetry
  • Ensure browser policies align with enterprise security standards

Notes: We're open to Chrome, Edge, or endpoint security engineers - if you've built and enforced security policies on the endpoint, you can ramp into our Secure Browser platform.

Requirements

  • PowerShell scripting

  • Microsoft Windows Server

  • Strong Windows and macOS expertise in large enterprise environments

  • Hands-on experience with Secure or Enterprise Browsers (Island preferred; Chrome Enterprise or Edge acceptable)

  • Experience with policy management (similar to firewall or EDR policies)

  • Proficiency with JSON, HTML/CSS, REGEX, and command-line tools

  • Experience with DLP solutions

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

  • Experience with CrowdStrike, Trellix, Microsoft Defender/EDR, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of browser internals and security engineering concepts
  • Experience in regulated or financial services environments
